How strong is the signal?

Although PressurePro™ Sensors will transmit up to at least 100 feet line of sight, it really depends on the density and materials of the RV or truck in between them and the Monitor.

If an RV is over 40', it's possible that one might need to order the optional extended antenna kit in order to pick up signals from the towed vehicle.

However, if the Monitor does not pick up the back wheels, the Monitor can firstly be moved to a different location, to see if that will improve the signal reception. Each time the Monitor is moved, one must wait 5 minutes for the signals to arrive from the Sensors.

The majority of RVs over 40' feet have no problem receiving the signal without the extended antenna kit. However, if the signals are not received from all of the Sensors after trying different Monitor locations, the extended antenna kit, or the optional Repeater will be necessary.

Echo Repeater

The optional Echo Repeater is an alternate to the extended antenna kit.

It looks very much like the Monitor, without the tire depictions, and plugs into any 12v source, such as a cigarette receptacle, perhaps in the bedroom.

The stronger signal will then be "repeated" to the Monitor, resulting in improved reception.
