If storing your vehicle for more than 5-6 months without charging, it is advised to unplug the Monitor and remove the Sensors.

The Monitor will retain its last programmed memory indefinitely. If you either mark the Sensors, or put each one in a baggie (or egg carton) by marking "front left" or "front right" etc. you will not need to reprogram-- although it only takes a few minutes to do so.

When you want to start using the system again, simply plug in the Monitor and put the Sensors back on in their original, respective locations.

It is recommended that Sensors be installed in the early msorning when temperatures are cooler, in order to establish their cold running reference pressure.
