L&S Safety Solutions to Showcase PressurePro TPMS Leading Technology at Waste Expo 2010

Wickenburg, AZ USA, February 1, 2010: L&S Safety Solutions (“L&S”) announced today that they are attending the upcoming Waste Expo 2010 taking place May 3rd through May 6th at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA to showcase PressurePro tire pressure monitoring systems (“TPMS”). This show is North America’s largest solid waste and recycling tradeshow and serves both private and public sectors. Advantage PressurePro, a worldwide leader in Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems and Technology, will also be in attendance with L&S, noting that the Expo is a great way to get a better understanding of the waste industry’s need for reliable and durable tire pressure monitoring.

With the constant stop-and-go brake-generated heat challenge of the waste industry’s on-road vehicles as well as the treacherous conditions of their daily off-road exposure, this industry is averaging a tire lifespan of less than 6,000 miles, obviously detrimental to a fleet’s profits. Fortunately, TPMS can help extend this average tire life.

With tire life being a top concern for waste fleets of all types and sizes, PressurePro is looking forward to further educating the market of the numerous benefits that tire pressure monitoring can offer. Interested fleets and drivers in attendance at Waste Expo can find additional information at Booth # 1763. Further information can also be found online at www.TirePressureMonitor.com.

I would like to take this opportunity to offer a formal recommendation for the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). I have been associated with Advantage PressurePro for many years attesting to their professionalism, excellent management team, business acumen and product engineering.

The agility of this company to adapt quickly to changing market and product dynamics has been impressive. The challenge to meet and provide solutions to a varying market from light to heavy duty product is complementary in a highly complex environment of telemetry and hard product. PressurePro has exceeded expectations delivering on customer and product demands over and above the industry requirements. Engineering and manufacturing is well established and continues to impress the experienced in their ability to adapt to an ever changing market demand for product application.

I have initiated and followed through with product evaluation on several major class 8 fleets from general freight to refuse. The product after several years of trial testing functioned as designed and without fault. The TPMS product immediately resulted in improved fleet efficiencies, better tire pressure management, fewer breakdowns, improved fuel consumption and a reduction of manual labor required to perform tire pressure checks and record the data. Return on investment is immediately realized by the end user.

My credentials: Retired executive, 30 plus years with a major truck manufacturer, involved and directed customer service, after market support for product, both direct and ancillary to dealers and customers worldwide. My strong and longtime product, industry and market experience, qualifies me to endorse both Advantage PressurePro, LLC as a company and their product offering as advanced engineering and manufacturing, lead by a highly skilled management team.

The industry, both light and heavy trucking, is experiencing an awareness of the advantages of proper tire pressure management on improving tire life, fuel consumption, down time, labor cost, vehicle handling, stability, braking and safety as well as the benefits of reduced carbon emissions.

The enthusiasm for this product has intensified year over year in nearly all market segments. TPMS studies indicate the significant savings that are realized in real dollars and carbon emissions reductions through maintaining proper tire pressures and documenting this information to management systems. PressurePro is capable of providing this information with a reliable and accurate product.

To PressurePro
RE Our Experience with Pressure

We own a 2006 Allegro Bus and in Feb. of 2007, we added the Pressure Pro system to both the coach & towed vehicle. On our trip from our residence in Florida to our summer home in ND, we had not one, but two incidences where our monitor alerted us to tire problems. First a tire on our towed vehicle had a nail in it and when we were fueling up at a Flying J, the monitor alarm went off. The next day the outside duel tire on the coach did the same thing. The monitor woke George from his nap!

Either incident would have been costly & perhaps devastating if we had not had the PressurePro. Because of our experience with your product, we have persuaded many fellow RV’ers to make the investment in PressurePro. The cost is minimal compared to the cost of losing a tire on either the coach or towed vehicle. We consider the PressurePro our best investment yet!

Last month, on my way to Tennessee with my truck and horse trailer, my pressure pro alarm went off for my left front truck tire. Sure enough, I had rolled over a roofing screw and was leaking air slowly. I drove straight to a tire repair place and was able to have the tire repaired while my horse lounged in the trailer. Most tire shop workers don’t see horses often, so all the cell phone cameras were out snapping away. What a HAM. As I drove away, I thought, “Man, that TPMS just paid for itself.” I would never had known my tire was leaking and probably would have had a blow out on a steering truck tire, even if I had checked the tire pressures at the start of the trip.

Then, last week on my trip home from Brown County, I was zooming along the highway in a construction zone when the TPMS alarm went off again, this time the rear drivers side horse trailer tire. Well, what do you know, I drove over something that caused a nice sized hole in the tire. I was able to pull over to a safe place before the pressure in the tire dipped below 60 pounds, saving the tire and who knows what else if that tire had blown.

Thanks for a great product,

Hanson remains one of the world’s leading heavy building materials companies operating in North America, the UK, Australia, Asia Pacific and Continental Europe.

Hanson Construction Materials at Kulnura Quarry, have been using the Pressure Pro
wireless tyre pressure monitoring units for over 12 months on a fleet of Five X-Komatsu
50t dump trucks and a 40t dump truck.

“We have found them to be reliable, with no problems when fitting them or when
changing tyres. Operators are now constantly aware of the status of their tyre
pressures, and we can confidently say that we have not damaged a tyre through low air
pressure since fitting the units. We also have saved money by not needing a tyre fitter
to do weekly pressure checks. Small leaks can now be monitored and we can
coordinate to get a Tyre handler to come to site and do several repairs at one time.”

I wanted to let you know I received my monitor and sensors and they work great. In fact, I’ve had 2 tires go bad in the last 2 weeks and the Pressure Pro caught them both before they went flat and caused an accident and/or damage. The system has paid for itself already. Thanks for everything, you’re a great company to work with.

Doug M. Livingston, TX

Well, I’m happy to report after our trip to Alaska and back home of over 10,000 miles, everything performed perfectly. In the mornings, I’m able to read the tire pressures without having to move. Having the system on gives me peace of mind like you all said it would and I like being able to check tire pressures to assure all tires are approximately the same pressures for better handling and fuel mileage. You all provide great service and are terrific to work with. Keep up the good work.

Gaylon B. Houston, TX

The new system is bulletproof!! What a joy. I am delighted with the system and tell everyone they need one too to protect their love ones. Thanks for all the great service after sale.

Mike D. Long Beach, CA

The system with the optional antenna worked flawlessly again on our trip today. Clearly the antenna was needed in our case to pick up the towed car, given the length of the coach. It’s my opinion that understanding the integrity of my car tires while being towed is the greatest benefit of your system. Surely, knowing what the coach is doing is important, but I have no mechanical feedback from the car while I’m driving. Should a tire blow or lose pressure, I would not know until substantial damage has been done. The system monitors all my tires, including the car tires, and I can relax much more. One less worry while driving. Congratulations on developing such a good product.

Roy S. Brandon, FL

Made our first real trip with new Pressure Pro approximately 800 miles. Everything worked fine, with the control mounted antenna. It is a real pleasure to be able to check pressure before you start on a trip from the driver’s seat. Thanks for a nice, very useful product. I will recommend it to all my friends.

Wesley B. Middleburg, VA

This past week-end was the 1st opportunity I have had a chance to use it and it worked perfect! Put me in the HAPPY CAMPER column.

Gerald W. Temple, TX

I just thought I would let you know that the newest PressurePro hardware worked flawlessly on our trip to Colorado.

David T. Allen, TX

Having instant, accurate tire pressure readings while rolling down the highway provides a great peace of mind. It is easy to check the tires at anytime and of course should any tire begin to lose pressure, the system will alarm. The system is easy to install and use.

David & Bret Allen, TX

L&S Safety Solutions will be an exhibitor at the Atlanta, Georgia Waste Expo May 4-6, 2010, representing PressurePro tire pressure monitoring systems. The event takes place at the World Congress Center, serving the $52 billion waste and recycling industry. The event attracted over 12,000 total participants in the 2009 event.

With over 500 exhibitors, WasteExpo is an opportunity for all to see and compare the latest equipment and technology in the industry. WasteExpo attracts both the private sector and the public sector, as well as waste generators to the show. It is North America’s largest solid waste and recycling tradeshow.

The WasteExpo 2010 Conference Program covers the latest trends and topics in the solid waste industry such as PressurePro’s tire pressure monitoring system, currently being used on refuse trucks (as well as other types of trucks and fleets) throughout the U.S.

Benefits of using PressurePro and maintaining properly inflated tires include increased fuel efficiency, extended tire life, and decreased downtime and maintenance. Safety is also an added benefit, since under inflated tires lead to tread separation and tire failure resulting in 33,000 injuries and over 650 deaths per year.

Drive Green! Under inflated tires are estimated by the DOT to release over 57.5 billion pounds of unnecessary Carbon Monoxide pollutants into the atmosphere every year. Use of PressurePro and driving with properly inflated tires helps decrease carbon emissions, and is environmentally friendly, conserving our precious natural resources.

Visit PressurePro at booth #1763 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA.

The PressurePro Motorcycle TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) is now available! Bikers have long awaited a reliable TPMS for their bikes, including their side cars/trailers.

PressurePro is a wireless electronic tire pressure monitoring system and is capable of monitoring and displaying current tire pressures on demand, whether stationary or moving. Low pressure is the leading cause of premature tire failure but PressurePro can provide early notice of potential problems. Knowing about a low-pressure tire ahead of time is paramount to averting a flat tire and a subsequent blow-out. Fixing a tire is less time consuming and less costly than buying a new one and/or repairing your bike!

Monitor: Check each tire’s air pressure by pressing a button, even while riding down the road. Can also alert you to low tire pressures; digital readout shows the problem tire location and current tire pressure. Be alerted of low pressure tires before driving becomes unsafe.

The 433.92 MHz FM Monitor can monitor up to 6 wheels and is weather resistant. The Monitor displays each tire’s pressure and can send an audible and visual alert if pressures drop. It automatically dims in low-light or dark conditions and then brightens in conditions of bright light. Includes integral built-in antenna and extended power cord. Pressure range is 10-199 psi. Velcro mounts included.

Monitor Dimensions: 3 3/4?W x 1 1/2?H x 3/4?D

Sensors: Uses standard PressurePro tire Sensors (order separately).

Sensors screw onto the valve stems of your bike’s tires, replacing the valve stem caps. The Sensors transmit a coded RF signal and can alert if pressure drops approximately 12% under the cold running pressure for each tire.

The Tire Industry Safety Council has estimated that 50-80% of the 500+ million tires being used in the USA are underinflated. Under-inflation is the major cause of over-heating and contributes to ply separation, sidewall/tread breakdowns, poor tread life, tire disintegration, premature tire failure, and decreased road safety. PressurePro also helps to increase useful tire life and to save fuel by informing the rider of tire under-inflation.

Additionally, the Department of Transportation estimates that over 37% of all tires in America are under inflated. Low tire pressure is the number one cause of tire failure and contributes to heat buildup, tire disintegration, ply separation and casing/sidewall breakdowns. Increase your average MPG by as much as 3.3% with properly inflated tires. Properly inflated tires last longer; be safer with properly inflated tires.

PressurePro can be used on most pneumatic tires and can also be used on RVs and tows, trucks/trailers, ATVs, autos and commercial vehicles—up to 64 wheels with drop and hook applications.

Testimonials:

The peace of mind that PressurePro provides is priceless. This is one of the greatest products I have ever purchased due to its simplicity and reliability. Every vehicle on the road should be required to have a PressurePro system; it could prevent hundreds of dollars in damage to vehicles and could save lives too! Rod A.

The system is bulletproof! What a joy being able to check your pressures at any time! I am delighted with the system and tell everyone they need one to protect their loved ones too! Thanks! Mike D.

Thanks for a great product! The PressurePro system gives you the information you need to maintain properly inflated tires; also results in providing significant savings as well as safety! Phil R.

The NTSB responded to a fatal motorcoach crash recently by recommending mandatory tire pressure monitoring systems in all motor vehicles weighing more than 10,000 pounds, incuding school buses, and that motorcoach passenger safety be improved. In 2008, a motorcoach crash in Texas killed 17 and injured another 38 which was in part caused by low tire pressure that resulted in the driver losing complete control of the vehicle.

One proposed change to be requested in the 2010 National Congress on School Transportation is that tire pressure checks must be conducted by drivers during the pre- and post-trip walk-around inspections, and that operators be familiar with how tire pressure monitoring systems work, if used; local school districts can require TPMS at their discretion.
